Alrighty! So I was tagged by a bunch of different people for different things so I decided to save them all up and do one massive journal. I'm going to start with all my 8 facts tags.

:iconmeghan-dzurichko: wanted to know about Nan.

1. Nan’s favorite animal is the chicken.

2. She’s afraid of heights.

3. She’s the youngest of three girls. Her oldest sister is the pretty one and the middle sister is the bold one, so she often feels less special when she compares herself to them.

4. She loves dresses, but doesn’t get to wear them very much after joining the school because it’s hard to fight in dresses.

5. She likes to cook, and her favorite food is freshly baked bread with honey.

6. She always carries a dagger, often concealed under clothes, that Trowan gave her. It was an heirloom from his family that he decided she needed more than him.

7. Some of her fondest childhood memories are listening to her father telling stories to the family after a hard day’s work with crickets chirping in the background.

8. She owns a donkey named Clover, who was gifted to her, and a cat named Ash, who she rescued off the street.

:iconunaowens: wanted to know about Entasa.

1. Entasa, along with her twin brother, Estir, was found as a baby on the doorstep of an orphanage in a basket. The only other thing in the basket was a piece of paper with their names written on it.

2. By the time they were eight, they had run away and were living on the streets.

3. She’s always feared being forced into prostitution, and decided to trust only her brother to protect herself from that.

4. She’s a very good swimmer, because she grew up in a port city.

5. She’s always been curious about her past, wanting to know where she came from.

6. She knows the value of keeping her mouth shut, but when she does decide to speak she doesn’t see the point in sugar coating what she says.

7. When it comes to her and her brother, she’s usually both the spokesperson and the distraction, to give him more time to observe and strategize.

8. Shes been afraid, or at least wary, of crabs ever since one pinched her when she was little.

:iconbirdhousebirdy: wanted to know about Spider.

1. Spider is the Chief’s daughter, so she feels like she has to be calm and in control of herself at all times.

2. She feels the most free when riding horses.

3. She has a very strong sense of duty and is devoted to her people.

4. She has trouble relating to others her own age in social settings, and feels much more comfortable interacting with professionals. This is because she can relate to the ideas of having a job to do, working hard to do it well, and taking pride in it, very well.

5. Her father is her best friend, and the only person she feels completely relaxed around. She can talk to him about anything, except the mother she’s never known, that topic’s taboo.

6. She’s a good hunter, as is expected of her, but most of the time she’d rather be doing something else.

7. She’s always been curious about the world outside her home, but has always been too busy with her responsibilities to go exploring, even in books.

8. She has an excellent memory, and is able to memorize things quickly.

Aaaaand now for the 12 questions tags!

:iconraqonteur: wanted to know:

01 What is your best attribute or trait? (physical or mental. Be honest)

I would say it’s my imagination and curiosity, my desire to be different from the norm. (Some may say that’s three, but I find them to be very interconnected. At least in the way I use them.)

02 What about your worst?

Procrastination, no doubt.

03 Have you ever trolled anyone, and why?

I don’t think so, although I did find it hilarious the one time my sister had a conversation with a raging troll here on DA. She was super polite and deliberately oblivious to their rudeness, which could be considered another form of trolling, depending on how you look at it. ;)

04 Which of my stories is your favourite?

Hmmmm… Probably Amber Hunt’s story. I love dinosaurs.

05 What is your favourite Genre in literature?

Fantasy! (Especially adventure.) I also enjoy science fiction.

06 What about in art?

Oh, I don’t know. I like pretty much anything that tells a story and/or gives off a sense of wonder and/or epicness. Go creeping through my favorites if you’re really curious.

07 Describe yourself as a character trope/stereotype

A combination of goodie two shoes, shy/introverted, optimist, and “the idea girl.”

08 What was the last active thing you did?

Dance class! (We started learning the tango and I loved it.)

09 How far have you got on Pokemon Go?

Nowhere, I didn’t get the game to begin with.

10 Who is your favourite Disney character that is NOT a Princess?

Lilo (I’m not sure if I can say that definitively, but I do love her.)

11 Who is your favourite Villain from any series, film or book?

Lonoke (I tend not to connect with villains like some people do, but this guy has brought me such fun because of what he means to me and my friends.)

Villain I most love to hate: Deloris Umbridge

Villain I most love to care about: Dr Horrible

12 What is your favourite song from an animation? (nil-point for 'Let It Go' )

That is such a hard question. I like lots of songs for different reasons. I’ll just throw out the first one that comes to mind.

He Mele No Lilo, from Lilo and Stitch.

:iconlordcherrypaw: wanted to know:

1: Who is your fav character? (Can be from any source, TV, books, Video Games, Ect.)

Oh God… The Doctor! No, Zoro… or Sanji? Wait, maybe Katara. Or it could be Will Treaty. But what about Hiccup? But maybeeeeeeeeee, the entire cast of Schlock Mercenary… or Firefly. I do adore Ayona…

(Doctor Who, One Piece x2, Avatar: the Last Airbender, Ranger’s Apprentice, How to Train your Dragon, Schlock Mercenary, Firefly, and The Velegent.)

2: If you could pick ONE power, what would it be?

Shapeshifting (That gives me a few other powers by proxy, like flight, breathing underwater, that sort of thing.)

3: Would you consider yourself a spiritual person? (In any aspect of the word)

One million percent yes.

4: You are faced with death of drowning in icecream or freefalling into a pit of snakes. Which would you choose?

I’m assuming the fall would be enough to kill me, though I’d feel bad if I squished some of the snakes.

5: Any one weird habit that you have? If so, what is it?

Everyone has weird habits. One of mine is I bounce my leg.

6: What's your musical preference?

Pretty much anything that sounds epic and/or has a good story in the lyrics.

7: Any experience other than drawing?

Like, creative or anything? I’m a writer, it’s what I want to do with my life. I ride horses (western style). I’m a black belt. I’m learning to be a sound mixer. I’m also an excellent order taker at my job, Milios.

8: Do you know where this quote comes from? "I am error,". (lol, I had to. XD)

Hmm, no. Where did it come from?

9: If someone dared you to go on a blind date, would you do it?

Depends on if I trust that person’s judgment on picking dates.

10: How about Karaoke for 50$ ? :3 On stage...in front or your friends...and family???

Sure. I’d probably feel more comfortable if I had friends/family there.

11:  Let It Gooo, Let it Gooo...  Do you wanna kill me yet?

Oh yes.

12: Are you happy where you are in life?

Well, yes, but I kinda feel like I shouldn’t be. Like I should be striving for better and more but I’m actually comfortable with what I have. It’s not like I don’t have plans, it’s just that I don’t feel the burning desire to make those plans come to fruition right now.

Alrighty! Now I get to ask you some questions. Congratulations everyone! You are now my focus group. (If you can't pick a definite favorite for any of the questions, just pick one you like a lot.)

1. What is your favorite genera of storytelling and why?

2. Who is your favorite character (that you own) and why?

3. Who is your favorite character (that I own) and why?

4. Who is your favorite character (that someone else owns) and why?

5. What is your favorite unique world, from books, movies, television, etc, and why? Give at one detail, large or small, that you loved.

6. Of the characters in this picture Trowan In Private by StoryMaker91 (excluding Trowan of course) who should I run through oc training next?

7. Alternately, should I do one of the antagonistic characters from the same story that has less development right now? (Options would be the enemy king, and enemy captain, or the captain's wife.)

8. Alternately alternately, should I just do Trill?

9. What about a story attracts you to it and makes you want to experience it in the first place?

10. Favorite oc training challenge and why?

11. What is a theme/concept that you find is most interesting for stories to explore, and why?

12. Would anyone out there be interested in reading Trowan's story, either now and give me feedback, or later once it's published?

And now for tags. These are for both the 8 facts and 12 questions. Feel free to do only one of those if that's all you have time for/all you're interested in.

Fair warning, I'm going to be talking about religion.

Tell me if you heard this before.

"I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe and that's totally okay. Let's just all respect each other's beliefs and get along in peace and harmony."

Bet you have. This is a very common, very politically correct, thing to say whenever we brush against the possibility that someone else might have different beliefs then us. It sounds very nice and tolerant and respectful and well... I would never say it. I never could.

Please understand, it's not because I don't respect you, or I want to stir up trouble, or think I'm better then you or anything like that. It's just that if I ever said that it would be one gigantic betrayal of not only my beliefs, but you as well. Let me explain.

As you may or may not know, I am a Christian. As a Christian I hold certain beliefs (obviously) I'll try to explain them in the most straightforward way possible.

God was here before the universe began and he decided to create us to be His children and the universe as a place for us to live. So he created the first man and woman (Adam and Eve) and put them in a garden that was to be their home. Now God loved Adam and Eve and He wanted them to love him too. But (this is important) it's impossible for anyone to love anyone if they do not have the choice to hate them as well. If you must love someone because it is physically impossible to do anything else, then it's not real love. So God gave Adam and Eve free will, the option to hate him if they so choose. God gave them a boundary, He said "You can't eat the fruit of this particular tree. If you do you will die."

Adam and Eve chose to eat the fruit of the tree. Yes, Satan tricked and lied to them because he hated them (he hates all of us) but he didn't force them. They chose to do it. They chose to disobey God's clear instructions and rebel. That's what sin is. Doing something God told you not to. Now God of course knew what was going on but He let Adam and Eve do it because He was respecting the free will that He gave them. It did break His heart though.

Now what sin does is separate us from God. This made all parties involved very sad. Adam and Eve didn't want to be separated from God and He didn't want to be separated from them but they had made their choice and they couldn't take it back. This was when God instituted animal sacrifices. Because the payment for sin was death, something had to die. God put together a system where animals could die for people's sins. It was a band-aid at best and wasn't a permanent solution but that was okay, God had a plan.

Fast forward a bit and we come to Jesus. Jesus is God. Jesus is also human. Jesus came to earth and did what none of us could ever do. He lived a perfect life and never sinned once. Because of this when he died he wasn't dying for his sins, he was dying for all of ours. And that was it, done. All the sins anyone had ever or would ever commit were paid for. We weren't separated from God anymore because Jesus took care of it for us.

However, we still have free will. God allows us the choice to either accept or reject Jesus's death. If we accept then we go to heaven when we die and we get to be with Him. If we don't then we go to hell, which is permanent separation from God.

I hope, then, that you understand why the whole "You believe whatever you want to believe and I'll believe whatever I want to believe." saying rubs me the wrong way. If I were to say that to you I would be saying, "You're going to hell and that's okay." I do not hate you that much, or at all.

So please, even if you think I'm an idiot for believing this, try to understand where I'm coming from. We all spend eternity somewhere and I want you to spend it in heaven.

(I tried to explain everything as well as I could but if you have questions about it please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer.)

OC Features

Stole from :iconenjoumou:

For the first 10 people to comment, I will take a peek at their gallery and then let you know my favorite OC of theirs and why I like that particular the best. If you do comment please spread the love by doing the same in your journal putting the tagger (me) in the first slot. I look forward to finding out about your characters!

1. :iconenjoumou:
One Piece OC Profile: Senka by Enjoumou
I like her because of her desire to do the right thing and her courage in doing it no matter what. Also I can relate to the socially awkward part.
2. :iconashcreator:
Jasper the Raichu ref. sheet by ashcreator
I like Jasper's color scheme and I have to admire someone who actually likes to run.
3.:iconbubbles46853:
My Girls: Ruby, Yuki and Data by bubbles46853
I have a soft spot for shy characters so Data jumped out at me. She seems to have a lot of potential for character development so that's nice.
4. :iconbirdhousebirdy:
Kinny and Corny Single-Awareness Day by Birdhousebirdy
I had trouble choosing between Kinny and Rivva but I had to choose so I decided to go with Kinny. I like her because she's this introverted nerd without a love interest who stops an alien invasion. You don't see a lot of female main characters like her and I love her all the more for it.

Journal of Doom

12 min read
Alright this journal has two purposes. For purpose number one I need your help. I want to create a musical martial arts form but I need some music. Do you guys have any suggestions? I'm looking for something that has changes in tempo reasonably frequently and is energetic, though it doesn't have to be crazy, I don't want to burn myself out trying to keep up with the song, I'm gonna have to practice this over and over to get it right. I'd prefer minimal to no voices please. It should be at least a minute long so I have some time to work with. Don't worry if it's very long, I can always finish the form before the music finishes. Any ideas you could give me would be great!

For each of the 20 first people answering this journal, I will put their avatar and the three deviations I like most from their gallery on the list!

If you answer, you have to do the same in your journal, putting the tagger on the first place. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone!

An Abandoned Story
-Bowie’s Mission-

Dead Bowie walked down the corridor, his feet barely making a sound.
Over the years, here at the E.L.E, he had learned to keep quiet. It probably wouldn’t matter anyway, there were over a dozen cameras watching him at once. That thought of being watched still gave him the creeps, even after seven years of being a member.
He passed by Fake Thomas Jefferson’s chamber, then Snake Bite’s, and past Tie Dye’s. All with gigantic Victorian doors that loomed over him. Bowie was glad he had his room over on the other side of the building, near Fury Leika. Of course there was a lot of Leika’s cat minions racing around everywhere, but at least he didn’t have to see Snake Bite hissing at him at a daily basis.
He followed the corridor down to the stairs, towards the laboratories, where Professor Normal and the new guy, Dr. Horrible, lived.
